  • To replace air filters: When you have a clogged air filter it is quite obvious that the efficiency of your car will reduce.   • Oil change: To change the oil of your car is also manageable DIY car maintenance. However, do not try to change the oil of the car immediately after you drove because it can be burning hot. You need to wait for at least a couple of hours. Some of the tools that might be required to change the oil of your car are oil filter, funnel, new oil, oil container, wrench, and ratchet.

  • To change spark plugs: This is quite simple DIY car maintenance. As you change the spark plugs on time you can have better fuel consumption and better ratings. Also you will enjoy a smooth driving experience in your car.

  • To replace windshield wipers: When the windshield wipers of your car are worn out it is recommended that you replace it at the right time for better driving conditions. The tools that are required to replace the windshield wipers of the car are a screw driver and new windshield wipers.

  • Fuel filters can also be replaced without the help of a professional. In fact, it is important to replace the fuel filters at regular intervals so the carburetor system cleans properly. However, keep in mind that the fuel system pressure is released before you set out to replace the fuel filter to avoid damage and injury.

  • To replace a blown fuse: When the headlights of the car go out, it could be blown fuse. You can check the fuse box of the car to find out which fuse needs replaced. If you are unable to locate the fuse box you can have a look at the car owners’ manual to find out the fuse box.
