There are various types of dental braces from metal to ceramic braces, also from tooth colored braces to clear braces. The dental braces are also called as orthodontic braces that are common among teenagers as well as for adults. The following are different types of dental braces.

Metal Braces:
These braces are most commonly used ones. Any orthodontist can provide this type of braces. These are made up of the high grade stainless steel. These are common in teenagers and adults because of the different colored modules which are used to tie the wire onto the braces. This braces system involves the brackets which are glued to each of the tooth.

Invisalign Braces:
These braces are invisible to straighten the tooth without wire and brackets. This system uses a series of custom that made clear aligners to move teeth gradually over the time. In this each aligner is manufactured individually with exact calculations to gradually shift the teeth into the place. This can be removed for brushing and flossing the teeth.

Lingual Braces:
These braces are attached behind the teeth so that they will be not visible when you smile. These braces are more expensive when compared to traditional metal braces but the advantages are apparent.

Ceramic Braces:
These are not as visible as the metal braces; also these are not as strong as the metal braces, but look great on teeth. These are little more expensive than the metal braces. These are less noticeable brackets and they are translucent so that they blend with your natural teeth color. These braces are designed in such a way so that they won’t strain or discolored over long periods of time.

Self-Ligating Braces:
These are low friction bracket systems and they are less painful when compared to conventional braces and they move the teeth faster. It reduces the number of visits to the dentist and need for extractions and also overall treatment time. This will be available in metal as well as ceramic.

When you are in stress, the breathing switches to a fast and shallow pattern because the sympathetic nervous system switches on your “fight or flight” response. This means when you are stressed, your body will send a signal to the brain. As a result, the brain will turn on its survival instinct mode and thereby increases heart rate, blood pressure, and other bodily functions. But if you try to keep your mind calm and maintain a steady pace of breathing, you will notice a big change. Suppose you don’t have any stress, but your survival instinct mode is longer than it should be then it becomes bad for your health. So, that is why correct breathing techniques are necessary.

Pranayama is a Yoga act which actually means a “pause in the movement of breath”. Pranayama exercises mainly focuses on teaching correct breathing techniques. It is practiced through attentiveness and synchronized breathing which is extremely helpful to influence the life force of the body. It is also used to control, cultivate, and modify the Prana in the body. Here in this, correct and controlled breathing is important. The inhale and exhale for a fixed amount of time. The rhythm of inhalation and exhalation changes during the practice of Pranayama. It is vastly useful in resisting the respiratory diseases. Hence various known and unknown disorders can be prevented.

The procedure of doing Pranayama depends on the types of Pranayama you selected for to do. The types of Pranayama are Kapalabhati and Bhastrika, Ujjayi, Nadisodhana Pranayama.

The best time to practice these Pranayama is early in the morning, or at evening. But make sure that you practice in dust free areas. The person should not be constipated and or under any severe physical or mental strain when practicing these exercises.

Carnitine is important in human body because it produces energy to support all bodily functions.
L- carnitine is an active form of carnitine and is an amino acid that is synthesized within the body and is absorbed from certain foods. It is beneficial to the body from increasing exercise endurance, to slowing the mental decline associated with Alzheimer’s.

The main function of carnitine is the metabolism of fats. Some reports says that L-carnitine increases the body’s energy supply by burning triglycerides for fuel. This helps the body burn fat and increase stamina. L-carnitine is available both in supplements as well as in many food sources. There is no recommended dietary allowance for L-carnitine but daily intake of 2 to 4 grams to be safe.

Carnitine are found in food sources such as red meat, cod fish, poultry, chicken breast, beef steak, and dairy products, nuts, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, legumes or pulses (such as beans, peas, lentils, peanuts), vegetables (such as artichokes, asparagus, beet greens, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, collard greens, garlic, mustard greens, okra, parsley, kale), fruits ( such as apricots, bananas), cereals (buckwheat, corn, millet, oatmeal, rice bran, rye, whole wheat, wheat bran, wheat germ), ice cream, whole-wheat bread, and other “health” foods ( such as bee pollen, brewer’s yeast, carob).

If these foods are not included in your diet, there would be a chances of carnitine deficiency in your body. To get rid of these problems eat a balanced diet so that you will not get any problems caused by the carnitine deficiency. Mostly, vegetarians have the deficiency of carnitine because this vitamin is present in darker meats.

The lens manufactures use three different measurements to make the conventional RGP lenses. If none of the three sizes match the patients eyes, and the soft lens are also not providing proper vision then the doctor suggests customized contact lenses which are made according to the measurements taken by the individual’s eyes. Again custom contact lenses are of two types. One is the RGP custom contact lens and the other is the soft custom contact lens.

When compared to the conventional contact lens measurements, the measurements for the custom RGP lens are much more complex. Special equipment is used to measure the eye from several points in order to form a detailed map of the eye. Later, this map is used to design the lens which exactly fit to the shape of the cornea. These lens are fabricated with advance equipment which helps in creating a smoother curve and the RGP material used in the lens allow more oxygen to pass through the lens of the eye.

The next type of lens are the soft custom contact lenses. These kind of lenses are used to correct higher levels of astigmatism and can provide more accurate correction than the regular conventional soft lenses. With higher correction rates these custom soft lenses provide potentially sharper vision.

Benefits: When coming to the benefits of this custom contact lenses, as they are individually shaped they are quite suitable for misshaped eyes due to injuries or unsuccessful refractive surgery. They are useful to provide successful treatment for many disorders. Even though these lens are expensive than the regular lenses it is worth investing as they are very useful in treating any kind of eye disorders.

Many people after practicing yoga for a couple of years, tend to make it as their profession in a view to make people educate about the positive benefits of yoga. Some people are completely commercial and nothing is important for them except money. They are not bothered about the welfare and comfort of the people attending the classes, concentrating much on the income they are earning by conducting those sessions. Here are few qualities which differentiate a good trainer from a bad one. One can easily find the following qualities in a trainer when they are really focused on what they are doing.

Apart from yoga, a talented and a professional trainer often speaks about the real value of doing yoga apart from explaining how to do the yoga postures. He makes the practitioners to understand the importance of yoga and let them make a conscious effort to learn yoga wholeheartedly so that they can reap greater benefits from their practice.

The trainer should be clear in what he is teaching, then only the students in his class can understand what actually was taught to them and practice the correct things.

Apart from all the regular teaching and plans to create awareness, the trainer should always be ready to address the concerns of the people.

Since he has in depth theoretical and practical knowledge, he should be aware of the things which are frequently questioned by the students. He should speak to the people in a polite manner, and try to resolve their queries in an appreciable manner.

A good trainer will also make sure that all the students of the batch are doing the things taught by him in a correct manner. If his teaching is good, it will definitely reach the people however, there are few who can grasp things quickly. For such people it is necessary for the trainers to see to it that they are doing it properly by attending them at regular intervals. He should make sure that proper yoga execution is being done.

The trainer should be ready to modify the mistakes done by the students and to make sure that they are doing it in proper manner. Also he should be ready to speak to them at any moment and to get a feed back from them to make necessary corrections in his teaching style or any other issues.

Finally a trainer should always be matured enough to understand his role in making people happy.

Tooth sensitivity occurs if the enamel on teeth wears down, exposing the dentin. This is very common in most of the people where the symptoms are electric sensation, tingly feeling and pain which may affect the teeth. Tooth sensitivity is caused when consuming too hot, cold, sour or acidic food and beverages and also when cold air hits the teeth. Tooth Sensitivity also results due to other factors such as gum recession, gum disease, fractured tooth, poor oral hygiene, brushing too hard which may result to loss in enamel, root nerve damage, tooth decay, teeth grinding or periodontal disease.

Teeth cannot tolerate certain temperatures like cold, hot, sour. Acidic foods can cause tooth erosion, dissolve the tooth surface exposing the dentin. If a person experiences a sense of pain on drinking hot or cold liquids is caused due to death of nerve cells in the tooth. You have to visit a dentist to determine what’s the true nature of sensitivity. Tooth sensitivity results in discomfort for a person.
Mouthwashes containing potassium salts and fluorides are available at local pharmacy and grocery stores and by rinsing the mouth with these mouthwashes helps to decrease the sensitivity especially for people plagued with decay problems. Use it at least once per day. Chewing a sugar free chewing gum is also good for dental health. Use a soft bristled toothbrush and apply only small amount of pressure while brushing because brushing with too much force causes tooth sensitivity.

Dental procedures: This treatment involves complex methods. Fluoride fillings are put over the exposed roots causing tooth sensitivity. They help strengthen the teeth’s enamel and dentin. Dental sealants can be used surface and provide a barrier to the stimuli that cause sensitivity.

Before choosing a remedy to reduce tooth sensitivity, it is important to see a dentist and determine the cause of sensitivity and know what solution is right for you. For a low level sensitivity in home maintenance is effective. The treatments provide relief and comfort from tooth sensitivity.

In cases of lesser intensity, home treatment procedures are apt, whereas, if the problem aggravates, it is advised to approach a dentist.
