Hypertension is a serious health problem and there are certain things which helps in preventing hypertension and also lowers an already elevated blood pressure, those are given here under:</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Vegetarian Diet:</strong><br />
In general people who are vegetarians have lower blood pressure levels and other cardiovascular diseases. A typical vegetarian&#8217;s diet contains more potassium, polyunsaturated fat, fiber, complex carbohydrates, calcium, magnesium, vitamin C and vitamin A, all of which may have a favorable influence on blood pressure.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong> Sugar:</strong><br />
Sucrose increases the blood pressure because sugar increases the production of adrenaline, which in turn, increases blood vessel constriction and sodium retention.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Fiber:</strong><br />
A diet rich in fibers helps to prevent the many forms of cardiovascular disease, including hypertension. Fibers also helps in reducing cholesterol levels, promote weight loss etc.</p>

Salt and the sodium increases the blood pressure, it is better to take sodium levels less than 2,400 mg per a day. It is better to buy canned, processed, and convenience foods which have low salt content.</p>

However, there are also some spices, which are actually fruit forms but considered as seed spices. They include fenugreek, cumin, coriander, mustard, celery seeds and others.</p>

Leafy parts of some plants have medicinal properties and are used as spices. Some of leafy spices include basil, mint, tarragon, and bay leaves. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I was there for the Olympics this year in world’s most populated country. They really did a great job in organizing such a mega event. The budget is vast for the country because it is still a developing one. It is rich of its ancient traditions and culture.</p>
<p>Entire trip was great except my problem with a bet from my cousin that I should try only Chinese food till I left China. That was really challenging which I got to know only after I started acting accordingly.</p>
<p>It was horrible when I saw shrimps were still moving in my plate. First, I thought it was a joke. But soon I understood that it is their traditional dish.</p>
<p>It was equally horrible when I came to know about many other such weird dishes. Some of them which I escaped trying were dog meat, silk worms, Cow’s all those inner stuff like lungs, wind pipe, Duck’s tongue, etc. And the weirdest of those was the scorpion dish, appears in full body.</p>
<p>So next time you visit Chinese, do remember to order only vegetarian. <span id="more-77"></span></p>
